Our goal at Jordan-Choate Health Career Training Center is to provide students with training that enhances their skills and abilities, making them more productive in their roles and to increase their awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.
About Us
Jordan-Choate Consultant Services, PLLC was founded over 20 years ago with the mission of helping adult care homes, in-home aide services, and mental health providers stay compliant with state rules and regulations. This was achieved through mock surveys and tailored recommendations, as well as providing support for business start-ups in these fields.
Initially, Jordan-Choate Consultant Services, PLLC offered staff training on a small scale, primarily upon request from clients who needed compliance oversight. Over time, it became clear that there was a growing demand for ongoing training for staff across various agencies and facilities.
To meet this need, Jordan-Choate Health Career Training Center was established. The center provides continuing education courses approved by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation and the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
Today, they continue to support business owners and those looking to start their own ventures, while ensuring their teams receive the necessary training to excel.
Meet Our Founder
Brenda Jordan-Choate
Jordan-Choate attended Watts School of Nursing and received her BSN from North Carolina Central University. She also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University and a Master’s in Nursing Education from East Carolina University.
Jordan-Choate has maintained national certifications in Gerontology, Case Management, Jail Health, and Public Health. She is a licensed Adult Care Administrator in North Carolina.
Her career includes experience as a nurse educator in hospital, community college, and university settings.
She has also worked as a staff nurse, state surveyor in multiple programs, nurse manager, corrections nurse, and manager for the state Medicaid program.

Brenda came to Charlotte to provide a mock state survey of my in-home aide agency. She was very detailed in the mock survey and provided recommendations to improve compliance with state regulations. The agency has not had any compliance issues. I request Brenda complete a mock survey once a year to review the agency for continuous recommendation for compliance.
